Best Music Venues in Miami
Miami has some excellent Live Music including on Miami Beach in some of the bars. Live jazz, combined with a view of the ocean and a cocktail or beer and you are all set. Miami Arena on the other hand offers a major venue at which some of the top international stars perform on tour.
Live Bar and Pub Music
There is a wide range of bars, clubs and restaurants that offer their patrons an enjoyable musical experience. Bougainvillea’s Old Florida Tavern has a pleasant ambience and excellent live music whilst Churchill’s Pub (located in Little Haiti) is popular because of the rock and roll and jazz music played. A lot of local musicians play at this English-style pub.
Jazid, one of the oldest nightclubs in Miami Beach and is another great place for live music (with daily live music and with various genres of music such as funk, jazz, hip-hop 
and reggae). Tobacco Road (the oldest bar in Miami) is as famous for its food as for its music. There are four stages here, and live music is played every night.
Major Music Venues
Big concerts are generally held at one of the three venues in Miami:
- The Fillmore
- Bank United Center
- and American Airlines Arena.
The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre is a great place to hear good music and the venue can seat almost 2400 people. Bank United Center, located on the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, seats 8000 people and the American Airlines Arena is a well-equipped venue with excellent facilities.
